My Experience: Cutting My Long Hair

About a year ago I cut my hair approximately 40cm/15in. Yes I know, it's a lot. But still cutting off my super-long hair changed me - I was reborn. You have to have the courage to be you. Confidence tops the list of reasons to cut your hair short. The great thing about hair is that it grows and so will you. If you are thinking about cutting your hair for a while be bold and just do it. Maybe you will regret it maybe not. You will not know until you try. Nothing is permanent. Everything we encounter and experience is temporary.
My new appearance made people around me constantly asking questions like, “What happened to your beautiful long hair?”,”How did you find the courage to do that?...  Honesty, I do sometimes miss my long hair and for a moment I become sad. Why? It's just I miss doing variety of hairstyles and playing with my hair. With shorter hair I don't have that much options. But don't think shorter hair are taking less time to maintain. It depends on the form of hair-cuts. But talking to many of people and listening about their experience I can say that short hair is harder to maintain. Congratulations short hair-cuts, you won this battle!
Cutting hair is also inspiring. I admire people who are cutting their long beautiful hair and donating to an organization that made wigs for people with cancer. Your hair will grow back in the previous length but you will always have a special memory of your own good deed because you will know that there is a person who now has a beautiful wig to get through a difficult time in life.
And another thing. There is a saying that women cut their hair short after a major life change and to mark a fresh start in life. I must say in may case that is true!
Long hair or Short hair - that is the question ?
